Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse (RN) position in a short-term acute care facility located in the region. The role involves providing patient care across various units, including med-surg, telemetry, and ER boarded patients. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, experienced in US healthcare settings, and able to float to support different clinical areas. The shift is nights, beginning on 10/06/2026 and ending on 01/05/2027, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 48 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week, starting 10/06/2026 and ending 01/05/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of clinical experience in the US, and current certifications including ACLS and NIHSS. Must have experience in the US healthcare setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience, familiarity with EPIC charting system, and trauma level experience.
- Float: Float to PCU, med-surg/telemetry units, potential support for ER boarded patients, with the ability to support various patient populations and responsibilities including some charge nurse duties on small units.
- Additional Information: Candidates should have experience managing a variety of clinical procedures and patient conditions as specified in the skills list. Prior US healthcare experience is required, and all submittals must include responses to specified qualification questions and references. Additional operational details involve adherence to scheduling and holiday commitments, with opportunities to support multiple nearby facilities if applicable.
