Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel experience and high-acuity OR skills including neuro and vascular procedures.

Details

• Level 1 trauma center operating room setting handling complex, high-acuity cases
• 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week
• No block scheduling available
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Holiday coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Level 1 trauma center OR experience required
• High rating on skills checklist required, including neuro and vascular competencies
• Proven success in high-pressure, large-scale trauma environments
• Experience managing critical, fast-paced situations required
• Background in high-volume hospitals with diverse and severe cases required
• Competency in Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard required
• Must have personal electronics to access required applications

Additional Information

• Work in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex and challenging surgical cases
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
