Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel and high-acuity trauma experience.

Details

• Operating Room department within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week
• No block scheduling available
• Weekend shifts required, approximately 4 per month
• Holiday coverage required
• On-call requirements apply

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• High rating on skills checklist required, including neuro and vascular competencies
• Experience in high-volume hospitals managing complex and diverse trauma cases required
• Proven success working in high-pressure, large-scale trauma environments
• Proficiency with Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard applications required
• Must have personal electronic device to access required scheduling and communication apps

Additional Information

• Provide OR nursing care in a high-acuity trauma environment handling complex and challenging cases
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travel candidates
• Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
