Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse, Orlando, FL This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a multispecialty operating room setting. The role focuses on circulating in various OR procedures, supporting surgical teams, and ensuring patient safety and care standards are upheld throughout the perioperative process.
Job Details
- Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
- Education Requirements: Licensed registered nurse (RN) with current licensure.
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of operating room circulator experience in multispecialty ORs, excluding cardiac, eye, or labor and delivery.
- Location Requirements: Candidates must be able to work in the specified Orlando, FL, facility.
- Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, Days, 06:30 AM 05:00 PM and 09:00 AM 07:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Working with equipment such as the Intuitive DaVinci Xi and DV5, Mako, and Globus spine robot. EMR system utilized is Epic. The role includes 1-2 weekend call shifts and 3-4 weeknight call shifts per month. Scrubs are provided; must wear hospital-supplied scrubs and non-linting coverings.
