Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a night shift position requiring active MA licensure and prior experience with hematology/oncology and BMT patients.

Details

  • Work on a 3-pod oncology unit with 10-bed pods
  • 1:3 to 1:4 staffing ratios
  • Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • May float to other oncology units
  • Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required, no pending or conditional licenses accepted
  • BLS certification (AHA preferred)
  • Experience with mixed solid tumor, hematologic malignancy, BMT, and cellular therapies required
  • Experience caring for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and solid tumor diagnoses
  • Experience with cellular product administration and clinical trials required
  • Experience with telemetry, PCA pumps, blood warmers, bladder scanners, and Baxter pumps required
  • Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start and upon expiration

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care to oncology patients including solid tumor, hematologic malignancy, and BMT populations
  • Administer cellular products and support clinical trial protocols
  • Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
  • Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of Boston, at a reduced rate
  • RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
