Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a night shift position requiring active MA licensure and prior experience with hematology/oncology and BMT patients.

Details

Work on a 3-pod oncology unit with 10-bed pods
1:3 to 1:4 staffing ratios
Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
May float to other oncology units
Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

Active MA RN license required, no pending or conditional licenses accepted
BLS certification (AHA preferred)
Experience with mixed solid tumor, hematologic malignancy, BMT, and cellular therapies required
Experience caring for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and solid tumor diagnoses
Experience with cellular product administration and clinical trials required
Experience with telemetry, PCA pumps, blood warmers, bladder scanners, and Baxter pumps required
Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start and upon expiration

Additional Information

Provide direct patient care to oncology patients including solid tumor, hematologic malignancy, and BMT populations
Administer cellular products and support clinical trial protocols
Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of Boston, at a reduced rate
RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
