# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Urgent Care – Alaska

Start Date: November 1, 2026

Location: Alaska

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Urgent Care Department setting within an ambulatory care environment; includes opening and closing clinic responsibilities

Highlights:
  • Work within a dynamic Urgent Care Department providing essential ambulatory care services
  • Collaborate with providers, clinic staff, and management to deliver excellent quality patient care
  • Provide leadership and direction to clinic team while ensuring efficient clinic operations
  • Participate in ongoing education, in-services, and annual competency training
  • Contract requires completion of fingerprinting and background processing prior to start date
  • Maintain medication inventory, quality control testing, and comprehensive clinical documentation
Requirements:
  • Current, full, and unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska (must be active at time of application)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience (within the last 2 years)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proof of current flu vaccination required
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
