Work in a fast-paced 24-bed ICU providing care to critically ill surgical, medical, and trauma patients in a Level One Trauma Center. Be part of an academic medical center and be involved in cutting-edge, evidence-based therapies and research studies to improve patient outcomes. Become an expert in using advanced life support therapies including ECMO and continuous dialysis to care for patients. Be part of a team that serves as emergency responders throughout the hospital. This unit is recognized with the highest honors for a critical care unit, indicating a positive and supportive work environment. Special equipment may be used in this position. Travelers may be required to float as needed. Inpatient RN travelers must have two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty. Pass/fail testing is required with strict passing criteria for a telemetry exam. The applicant will have two attempts to pass the exam.
