Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, quality patient care to patients of all ages utilizing the nursing process on a 30-bed Telemetry unit
- Provide specialized care for cardiac patients, incorporating educational requirements and competencies specific to the telemetry setting
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 and document care using Cerner EMR
- Float as required to Med/Surg and remote Telemetry units
- No on-call requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 1–2+ years of Telemetry and/or Step-Down experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Willingness and ability to float to Med/Surg and remote Telemetry
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
