Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care for general medical, surgical, short-stay, orthopedic, and stroke patients
- Monitor and care for remote telemetry patients as part of a 1:6 patient ratio on a 30-bed unit
- Perform EKG interpretation, IV insertion, Foley insertion, and medication administration
- Conduct point-of-care testing including blood glucose monitoring
- Complete thorough assessment documentation using Cerner EMR
- Assist with rapid sequence intubation (RSI) and adhere to floating requirements as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Prior experience with telemetry-monitored patients or stroke patient populations
- Familiarity with orthopedic or post-surgical patient care
