Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, quality patient care to patients of all ages utilizing the nursing process in a 30-bed Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data, incorporating competencies specific to the care of the cardiac patient
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner EMR
- Float as needed to Med/Surg and remote Telemetry units
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient education and individualized care planning
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 1–2 years of Telemetry and/or Step-Down experience required
- Willingness and ability to float to Med/Surg and remote Telemetry
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Telemetry or Step-Down setting
- Familiarity with blocked scheduling practices
