Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 6 weekend shifts expected per 6-week period (Friday and Saturday nights)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit with a focus on cardiac monitoring and management
- Care for patients presenting with diagnoses including CHF, acute coronary syndrome, STEMI, NSTEMI, PE, heart arrhythmias, CVA, and post-cardiac arrest
- Manage pre- and post-cardiac catheterization patients
- Float to Med/Surg and Cardiac/Neuro units as needed within the facility
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado or a compact state license
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience in Telemetry nursing
- Ability to float to Med/Surg and Cardiac/Neuro units as required
- Availability to meet weekend shift expectations (Friday and Saturday nights)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with cardiac catheterization patients (pre and post procedure)
- Familiarity with cardiac arrhythmia interpretation and management
- Prior travel nursing experience
