Description:
This position involves providing care in a telemetry unit.
The unit has 33 beds and is staffed with approximately 30 personnel.
Patient ratios are typically 5:1, although this is an estimate and not guaranteed.
The role requires managing IV drips, administering medications, and monitoring EKGs.
Candidates should also be familiar with handling chest tubes and devices such as pacemakers.
A positive, compassionate, and flexible attitude is essential for success in this role.
Prior experience with specific electronic medical record systems and large trauma facilities is preferred.
Care experience is prioritized for applicants.
