Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years in Telemetry nursing is required. License: Active state or compact license required at submission. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Experience with pre-cardiac catheterization and managing ports is required. Travel experience is required. Charting experience with EPIC is required. Description: Locally qualified candidates within a specified radius are accepted. No time off is permitted from mid-December to early January. Shifts are from 19:00 to 07:30. There are opportunities for block scheduling, but it is not guaranteed. Four weekend shifts, including two Saturdays and two Sundays in a six-week period, along with three Mondays and three Fridays, are expected. Travel partners are not allowed. The role may require floating between various campuses as needed. Contractors will support emergency department patients requiring inpatient care. If there are insufficient patients, floating to observation units may be necessary. COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exemptions available for medical or religious reasons. Flu vaccination status is unknown. Tattoos and piercings should be appropriate, with restrictions on nose rings and gauges. Nails should be kept short, with natural nail polish acceptable. Scrubs must not display any agency or brand logos. Suitable attire includes navy blue scrubs. Daily responsibilities may include collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and providing care for patients in telemetry settings. Candidates must demonstrate skills in areas such as managing dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, and various patient care protocols. Experience in caring for patients in acute settings, as well as those requiring telemetry, is essential. This position requires flexibility and adaptability to changing clinical needs.
