Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Surgical/Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU). This fast-paced 15-bed unit provides critical care for adult surgical and trauma patients. The position is designed for those who thrive in high-stress environments and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Shift Information

  • Shift: Night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00 - 07:00)
  • Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
  • Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays

Schedule Details

While we can offer 36 or 48 hours per week, please note that block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed. You may request up to 40 hours for time off as needed.

Qualifications

  • Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • Experience with Epic electronic health records is essential.
  • A valid Virginia nursing license is preferred; candidates with a pending license may also apply.
  • Must adhere to floating policies as needed.
