Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care and support for individuals with mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will be skilled in working with both adult and pediatric populations, although exceptional candidates with a focus on adult care may also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate patients' mental health needs and create individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Provide emotional support and crisis intervention to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Educate patients and families about mental health issues and recovery processes.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Experience in the behavioral health field is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations and provide compassionate care.
  • Certification in psychiatric nursing is a plus.
