Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical team. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor and assess patient health status, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Previous experience in a medical-surgical setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Willingness to accept night shifts; straight days are not accepted.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment to 12-hour shifts, with both night and day options available. Note that the acceptance of straight night shifts is possible, while straight day shifts will not be accommodated.
