The daily staffing ratio goal is 1:4, but it may vary based on unit needs. Experience with infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention is essential. The ideal candidate will have skills in telemetry monitoring and IV therapy management. Candidates should be comfortable interpreting dysrhythmias and managing blood products. Responsibilities include central and peripheral line care and administration of intravenous medications. The unit supports various interdisciplinary services including pharmacy and respiratory services. Prior oncology experience is preferred but not required.
