Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years Required License: Valid State License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must be able to pass the telemetry test. Experience in monitoring telemetry patients is required. Skilled in IV starts and general nursing skills such as medication administration, patient education, and lab monitoring. Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is required. Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit. Candidates must have at least 2 years of nursing experience, including telemetry monitoring. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Key responsibilities include starting IVs, administering medications, educating patients, and monitoring lab results. Applicants should exhibit proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing IVs and central lines. Experience with surgical patients and post-operative care is preferred. Applicants may be required to float to other areas when needed. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care. A professional demeanor and strong communication skills are essential for this role. References must be provided from professional supervisors or managers, excluding coworker references.
