Description:
Position is for a Progressive Care Unit in an oncology setting.
Candidates must provide Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Telemetry experience is required, with a minimum of two years in acute care.
Oncology experience is preferred, and chemotherapy certification is a plus but not mandatory.
The candidate will be expected to work some winter holidays.
Staffing is based on a patient ratio of 4 patients per nurse during days and nights.
Float requirements may apply within the facility or to an affiliate.
Compliance requirements include passing exams related to the specialty, including oncology competencies.
Candidates should have experience managing patients with solid tumors and related symptom management.
Previous charge experience is beneficial.

Candidates must notify if they have previously worked in a similar environment.
Required to work 4-6 weekend shifts within a six-week period.
Modules will be completed during orientation and are billable.
