Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring 2 years of med-surg telemetry experience and KY or compact RN licensure.

Details

Progressive/Acute Oncology telemetry unit
Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-7:30
13-week assignment length
Floating required within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital

Requirements

Active KY or compact RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
EKG exam certification required
ONS/ONCC certification preferred
2 years of med-surg telemetry experience required
Oncology experience preferred
Chemo certification preferred but not required
Skilled in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Clean license history required with no prior licensure hits

Additional Information

Provide telemetry nursing care within an oncology patient population
Expected to work some winter holidays
Candidates must disclose all requested time off (RTO) at time of consideration, as requests made after offer will not be approved
Local candidates residing within 100 miles are not accepted
Former UK-affiliated staff must have a 6-month gap before returning as a traveler
