Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit / Intermediate Care RN – Georgia

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Progressive Care Unit assignment with patient ratio of 1:3-4

Highlights:
  • 28-bed Progressive Care Unit / Intermediate Care Unit specializing in cardiac population
  • Diverse case mix including STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery patients, and chest pain
  • Experience with cardiac drips required (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors)
  • May also be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit for lower acuity patients
  • Minimum 2 years of documented PCU experience in a similar-sized facility required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Requirements:
  • Active Georgia RN license or ability to obtain
  • Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit experience in a similar-sized facility
  • Documented experience with cardiac patient populations
  • Proficiency in managing cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors)
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • Badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
