Nurses collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Registered Nurses effectively interact with patients and visitors while maintaining the standard of professional nursing. They provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Due to the broad range of medical conditions they encounter, they must be well-versed in a variety of health conditions. Additional Information: Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics Daily Census: 30 Number of Beds: 33 Interdisciplinary Support: Includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary. Patient Ratios: 4 patients per nurse during the day, 5 patients per nurse during the night. Weekend Coverage: 6 weekend shifts must be fulfilled during 6-week scheduling cycle. Travelers must adhere to drug screening policies. Clinicians must be available to complete needed lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer. Charting experience preferred but not required. Modules are non-billable and averaged 6-8 hours during orientation.
