Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required, including travel experience License: Current nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Traveler must live 150 miles or more from the facility. May be asked to float to a different floor. Description: Registered Nurses deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process. Nurses collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Nurses effectively interact with patients and visitors while maintaining the standard of professional nursing. Registered Nurses provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Due to the broad range of medical conditions they encounter, they must be well-versed in a large variety of health conditions. Patients consist of adults and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 30 patients with a total of 33 beds. Units are supported by interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. Clinicians must be available to complete necessary lab items within a specific timeframe of accepting the offer. Charting system experience is preferred, but not required. Travel experience is preferred. Candidates should avoid any substances that may result in a positive drug screen upon arrival.
