Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: Florida State or compact license required at the time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: EPIC experience required 2 references from authority figures within the last year Description: This position requires a registered nurse in a progressive care unit. Candidates must have at least two years of experience. The nurse will be responsible for managing up to five patients. Weekend shifts are required, specifically every other weekend or a total of six weekend shifts per six-week period. Float requirements exist, as the nurse may float to other units as needed. No on-call requirements apply to this position. The work environment includes interdisciplinary support from various teams. Candidates are expected to have strong skills in telemetry and care management. Flexibility with scheduling is essential as block scheduling cannot be guaranteed. Medical or religious exemptions are required for the flu vaccine. Shared duties may include managing cardiac drips and administering medications. All candidates are required to have experience with a specific charting system. Preferred qualifications include previous charge experience and familiarity with acute care settings.
