Description:
Weekend and holiday requirements apply.
Hurricane float requirements in effect.
Traveler will have a home base but could float to other units or locations.
Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed.
Two references from authority figures within the last year must be provided.
Flu vaccine required from October 31 to March 31, with medical or religious exemptions only.
COVID-19 vaccine required, with medical or religious exemptions only.
Experience with patient ratios of 1:5 required.
Travel experience is necessary.
Preferred experience in trauma level I and II settings.
Charting system experience is required.
Skills in managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, and central line care are necessary.
Additional skills in managing procedural sedation, respiratory support, and wound care are essential.
Interdisciplinary support includes various teams for comprehensive patient care.
Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.
Daily census is approximately 36 patients.
