Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves providing specialized care to critically ill children, delivering high-quality nursing support in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Night (19:00 - 07:00) or Day (07:00 - 19:00) – 4x12-Hour Shifts
  • Rotating schedule required
  • Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays
  • 3 weekends per six-week schedule
  • Floating to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics may be required based on staffing needs

Qualifications

  • Current BLS and PALS certifications required
  • Experience in pediatric cardiac care is a plus
  • Registered Nurse with a focus on pediatric intensive care
  • Can submit with Virginia license pending

Additional Information

  • 40 hours of time off can be approved
  • Time off is not approved during the first 2 weeks of the contract
