Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and experience in both Pediatric OR and ambulatory care, along with Peds trauma experience. This position involves critical responsibilities in a fast-paced environment catering to the needs of our youngest patients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room.
  • Assist with various surgical procedures and ensure a sterile environment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the surgical team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patient status and communicate effectively with families and healthcare team members.
  • Manage on-call responsibilities as required by operational needs.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license required.
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
  • Demonstrated experience in Pediatric OR, ambulatory OR, and Peds trauma.
  • Ability to work 10-hour shifts, with a commitment to weeknight, weekend, and holiday on-call rotation.

Schedule

This position will involve a day shift, working 4x10-hour days from 07:00 to 17:30, Monday through Friday, with additional on-call responsibilities.
