Job Details

  • Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: RN license required; BLS and PALS certification required; at least 2 years of recent acute care RN experience in inpatient pediatric or operating room settings; Pediatric OR, trauma, or ambulatory surgery experience preferred.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities once weekly (Monday-Thursday), one night per week, and weekends every 6-8 weeks.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Responsibilities include administration of blood and blood products, assisting anesthesia during induction, operating specialized surgical equipment, and providing patient care for neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent populations.
  • Required Qualifications: RN license valid in Wisconsin or a compact state, BLS certification, pediatric or trauma experience, and at least two years of recent acute care RN experience in a relevant setting.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric surgical procedures, trauma care, or ambulatory surgery is preferred.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet strict pass criteria for telemetry competency with two attempts allowed and provide proof of completion if applicable.
