Travel Nurse RN - PCU / Stepdown - $2,210 per week in Hilo, HI

Exciting Opportunity for HI-Progressive Care RN!** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic Progressive Care Unit with a 15-bed setup - Experience a balanced patient care environment: - 3 Step down ICU beds - 12 telemetry beds - Work with a nurse-to-patient ratio of: - 1:4 for Progressive Care - 1:3 for Step down ICU **Shift Details:** - Scheduled for 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation - No guarantee of hours; flexibility is key - No call required **General Job Duties:** - Provide primary nursing care - Conduct telemetry monitoring and strip reading - Perform fingerstick blood sugar tests **Equipment Utilized:** - Meditech charting for efficient patient records - Pyxis for medication management - BIPAP for respiratory support - Continuous cardiac monitoring **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of 1 year of hospital acute care experience within the last year - Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred **Licensures & Certifications:** - ACLS preferred - Current PALS preferred - NIHSS certification preferred **Floating Requirements:** - Float to all acute units in house, including: - Medical - Surgical/Peds - ICU - ER **Dress Code:** - Scrubs required **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
