Exciting Opportunity for HI-Progressive Care RN - Days (10/19) Job Description: - Seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join a dynamic Progressive Care Unit. - Work in a 15-bed unit featuring: - 3 Step Down ICU beds - 12 Telemetry beds - Enjoy a patient-to-nurse ratio of: - 1:4 for Progressive Care - 1:3 for Step Down ICU Shift Details: - Day Shift: 0645 to 1915 - Scheduled 36 hours per week after the first week of orientation - No guarantee of hours; no on-call duty - 24 hours of operation, Monday to Friday General Duties: - Deliver primary nursing care - Conduct telemetry monitoring and strip reading - Perform fingerstick blood sugar tests Equipment Used: - Meditech charting system - Pyxis for medications - BIPAP - Continuous cardiac monitoring devices Requirements: - Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital acute care experience - Progressive care and telemetry experience preferred - Floating to other units will be required, potentially including: - Medical - Surgical/Pediatrics - ICU - Emergency Room Licenses and Certifications: - ACLS preferred - Current PALS preferred - NIHSS certification preferred Dress Code: - Scrubs required Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
