Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to work in both the IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care unit and the IMC Thoracic unit. This role requires a professional who is committed to providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in acute medical and progressive care settings.
  • Perform telemetry monitoring with a focus on oncology, cardiac, and progressive care units.
  • Administer care to ventilated patients and support transplant patients as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document care provided.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Wisconsin and a compact RN license.
  • Experience in telemetry, oncology, cardiac, and progressive care nursing.
  • Ventricular and transplant experience is highly desired.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association required.
  • Complete a telemetry competency assessment prior to starting the role.

Schedule

This position includes day shifts of 12 hours, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a Monday through Friday schedule, including every other weekend and some holidays as required.
