Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in cardiac telemetry and a background in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Direct Observation Unit (DOU), Intermediate Care (IMC), or step-down care. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a telemetry environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, particularly in cardiac telemetry.
  • Provide nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit and similar settings.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records utilizing EPIC electronic health record system.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from AHA are mandatory.
  • Prior experience with telemetry and critical care is essential.
  • EPIC experience is required.
  • Ability to pass a telemetry test prior to starting the position.

Schedule

Day and evening shifts are available, with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The schedule includes Monday through Friday workdays, with every other weekend and some holidays required. 4x12 hour shifts may also be accepted.
