Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2412
$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
Opportunity:
RN - Stepdown
Job Details:
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Low census hours possible - unit may reduce shift to 4 or 8-hour increments as needed, up to 36 hours of low census unbillable hours per contract
• Work in a 44-bed intermediate cardiac stepdown unit with fast-paced, high patient turnover
• Patient care includes post-op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF, post procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, acute CP/MI, and med/surg overflow including detox, DKA, COPD exacerbation, respiratory failure, and Fem Pop Bypass
• Typical patient ratio of 1:4
• Must be able to manage independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Scrub colors: any color
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Must pass EKG test during the first week of hire
• Minimum 1 year of strong cardiac experience required (Cardiac SDU, Intermediate Cardiac, or Cardiac ICU)
• Minimum 2 years of IMC/PCU/Telemetry experience required
• Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips required
• At least one prior travel assignment required
• Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC charting experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
