Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• 13-week contract
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Contract end day is Sunday, not Saturday
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Float requirements include all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Low census policy allows unit to reduce hours in increments; traveler may be asked to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
• 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry monitoring
• Patient conditions include stable and weaning vents/trachs, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Patient ratio is 4:1 with primary patients and insulin drips
• Ventilator/trach experience required
• Stepdown, intermediate, or PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub colors: any color

This facility is a well-established hospital offering a wide range of inpatient services, including a 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry capabilities. The unit treats a diverse and complex patient population including trauma, neurological, orthopedic, and critical care step-down patients.
