Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Comprehensive Liver Care Unit-Intermediate Care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, specifically in liver care and transplant nursing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit.
  • Monitor patient conditions and assess their needs for immediate medical attention.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Educate patients and families on managing their medical conditions.
  • Coordinate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing role, preferably in a PCU or similar setting.
  • Experience in liver transplant care is highly preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule

This position is for night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week.

Additional Information

Local candidates are encouraged to apply at the same rates as those relocating from other areas.
