• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040

• Float Requirement: May float within scope of practice to other acute care oncology units

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of total acute care nursing experience
• At least 1 year of recent PCU nursing experience required
• Current, consistent acute care experience within the last 12 months
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong Epic charting experience required
• Experience with telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and PCU/stepdown level care
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care for patients with complex surgical oncology and mixed-acuity needs
• Monitor and manage patients receiving chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, insulin drips, and heparin drips
• Support patients experiencing oncologic emergencies, including cytokine release syndrome
• Perform and assist with chest tube care, tracheostomy care, and other unit-specific interventions
• Maintain a strong focus on infection prevention and fall prevention practices
• Interpret telemetry data and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote quality outcomes and efficient patient flow
• Adapt to evolving unit needs and support floating within scope when needed
