• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 3x12 schedule
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Charting System: Epic
• Schedule Notes: Weekend coverage may vary based on unit needs; floating may be required within scope of practice
• Orientation: 72 hours

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of total acute care nursing experience
• At least 1 year of recent PCU experience required
• Recent, consistent acute care experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Comfort caring for adults and geriatric patients in a high-acuity oncology and surgical setting
• Ability to support compliance and credentialing requirements on an accelerated timeline
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for PCU and med-surg level surgical oncology patients
• Monitor and manage telemetry, dysrhythmias, and hemodynamic changes
• Administer chemotherapy support therapies, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, and drip management as ordered
• Care for patients with oncologic emergencies, cytokine release syndrome, insulin drips, and heparin drips
• Perform chest tube care and other unit-specific procedures within scope of practice
• Support infection prevention efforts and patient fall reduction initiatives
• Collaborate with IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response resources
• Float to other acute care oncology units as needed within scope of practice
