Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

This position is available to replace a permanent employee who has resigned. The ideal candidate should be ready to start as soon as possible, with a target start date of 10/18/26 at the latest.

Assignment Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Shift: Four 9-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 04:30 PM
• Call Requirements: Required on weeknights and weekends
• Weekend Call: One weekend every 6 to 7 weeks and one weeknight call per week

Position Information:

• Role: RN - Circulating Nurse
• Number of Openings: 1
• Years of Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of circulating experience in the Operating Room, with preference given to candidates with travel experience
• Float Requirements: Team members may occasionally help on other units during low census, but this is not a regular requirement.

Education & Certifications Required:

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required for call duties.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 100
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 for surgical patients
• Equipment: Standard Operating Room equipment
• EMR: EPIC

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Proven experience in a smaller facility with varying service lines.
• Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience in Orthopedics, Urology, OB/GYN, General Surgery, and ENT.
• Type of Patients on Unit: Surgical patients
• Personality Fit: Team player who is willing to assist with various tasks, including room turnovers.
