Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse specializing in Gynecology in a healthcare setting. The position involves circulating and scrub responsibilities for gynecological surgeries, requiring strong skills in both areas. Qualified candidates will need to demonstrate experience in large trauma environments, and proficiency with electronic medical records. The role encompasses weekday shifts with potential weekend rotation and call responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 0700 start, mainly weekdays, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid IA or Compact State license, large trauma experience, proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, and at least 2 years of operating room nursing experience. Candidates must also have circulating and scrub skills in gynecology, with evidence of completed OR Circulating and OR Scrub skills checklist in sub packet showing strong skills under Gynecology.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic EHR system and trauma nursing.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have the ability to circulate and scrub in the operating room, with flexibility to work primarily weekdays and participate in weekend or call rotations as scheduled.
