Job Details

• Position Description: The role involves working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including weekends, holidays, and call responsibilities with a response time of 30 minutes. This is a 13-week assignment.
• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license; BLS certification required; ACLS preferred; zero years of experience required.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must possess a thorough knowledge of nursing principles, the ability to provide quality patient care, and clinical assessment skills. The role may require assuming duties as a charge nurse and demonstrating leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Knowledge of clinical equipment and safety procedures in the operating room setting is essential. Lethal dysrhythmia interpretation skills are necessary.
