Oncology Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients with genitourinary and gynecological cancers in an outpatient setting. This role requires strong oncology skills and the ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Administer chemotherapy treatments and manage patient care.
  • Start IVs and provide injections as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using Epic EMR.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans and care strategies.

Requirements

  • Current Massachusetts nursing license.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in oncology.
  • Experience with chemotherapy administration and strong IV skills.
  • Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR is preferred.

Schedule

This position requires commitment to a four-day work week, working 10-hour shifts scheduled between Monday and Friday, with clinic hours from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Shift options include:

  • 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Additional Information

  • No weekend or holiday coverage required.
  • COVID vaccination and booster are mandatory – no exemptions accepted.
  • Open to travel pairs, if applicable.
