Oncology Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will work night shifts and may float to other oncology units as needed. This position requires extensive experience in oncology, including care for mixed solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, bone marrow transplant (BMT), and cellular therapies.

Unit Description

This unit features a three-pod structure with 10 beds per pod, ensuring a patient-to-nurse staffing ratio of 1:3 to 1:4, promoting high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for patients with primary diagnoses, including leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and solid tumors.
Administer cellular products and support clinical trials as required.
Utilize advanced nursing skills, including operating telemetry, PCA pumps, blood warmers, bladder scanners, and Baxter pumps.

Qualifications

Current RN license and BLS certification.
Experience in oncology nursing, specifically with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
Familiarity with cellular product administration and participation in clinical trials.
Proficiency with telemetry and relevant medical equipment.
