Job Details

  • Position Description: Provides specialized nursing care to hematology/oncology patients, including those requiring blood products, antibiotics, and symptom management. Responsible for head-to-toe assessments, medication administration, and family updates. May be trained to administer chemotherapy.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid ND or Compact State RN License, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher, minimum of 2 years recent nursing experience in a large hospital setting, experience with Epic electronic health record system, BLS certification (American Heart Association approved), and ability to float to all medical-surgical units within Fargo.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Nurses will care for patients in inpatient oncology beds, including bone marrow transplant units. Unit training involves 8 hours of classroom instruction followed by 24-36 hours of bedside training. The facility requires badge-in and badge-out procedures.
