Job Summary
Medical Surgical Neurology Floor Nurse Fargo, ND This position involves providing specialized nursing care on a 32-bed neurology unit within a large hospital. The role requires working in a fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to float to various units as needed, ensuring comprehensive patient care through assessments, documentation, and medication administration.
Job Details
- Location: Fargo, ND
- Shift: Rotating, 12-hour shifts, with every other weekend and holiday required. Schedule cycles may vary between days and nights based on unit needs.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active ND or Compact RN license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, NIHSS certification, minimum of 2 years recent medical-surgical nursing experience in a large hospital setting (250+ beds), experience working with neuro patients preferred but not required, experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record, Omnicell, Alaris IV pumps, and successful travel experience.
- Additional Information: Must have recent med surg nursing experience, neuro experience preferred, and be willing to float to all units/departments in Fargo. Candidates must badge in and out at the facility and wear navy blue scrubs. Must note if previously employed by Sanford Health, with an end date at least 6 months prior to submission.
