Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in pediatric oncology. The nurse will work on a blended pediatric specialty unit caring for adolescents, infants, and children. Responsibilities include managing and administering chemotherapy, blood products, and bone marrow. The nurse will also coordinate patient care and provide education and support to patients and families. Experience with accessing and managing ports, IV hydration, and central line care is necessary. Understanding of chemotherapy side effects and management is essential. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy and pharmacy, is required.
