Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Medical-Surgical) – Upstate New York

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Upstate New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM; 12-hour shifts; floating to other units as needed

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical unit specializing in post-surgical care including abdominal, bariatric, orthopedic, and general surgical patients
• Work with adult patient population across a variety of surgical and medical diagnoses
• EPIC EMR system in use
• Opportunity to develop expertise with specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
• Assignment begins November 2026 with potential for extension

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted RN license in New York State (must be verified through NURSYS)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred
• Experience with post-surgical care, bariatric patients, and orthopedic care preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to float to other units as needed
