Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (IMCU/PCU) – Upstate New York

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Upstate New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM; floating required as needed

Highlights:
  • 64-bed Intermediate Care Unit with 15 designated Neuro beds
  • Diverse case mix including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory (COPD), DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-operative patients
  • Specialty equipment experience includes temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune systems
  • Chronic vent patients with respiratory therapy support; adult patient population (18+)
  • EPIC electronic medical records system
  • Local and travel candidates accepted
Requirements:
  • Active RN license in New York State (all licenses must be verified via NURSYS with RTO included)
  • Minimum 2+ years of documented IMCU/PCU experience required
  • Travel nursing experience preferred
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Valid driver's license with current address documentation
  • Completed skills checklist matching specialty area
