Schedule:

Three full 12-hour shifts per week with 3-4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period. Unit operates with 6 nurses per shift supported by a free charge nurse, unit secretary on day shift, and 3 patient care technicians per shift.

Highlights:

• 30-bed cardiac medical-surgical unit with 1:6 patient ratios and strong team support
• Self-scheduling with flexible rotation model; floating rotation with other travel nurses
• Cardiac drips include titratable (Cardizem, heparin) and non-titratable (dopamine, dobutamine, amiodarone) medications with airstrip telemetry monitoring
• Meditech EMR system with GE telemetry and Rover technology, portable WOWs, and 12-lead EKG on unit
• Highest scoring inpatient med-surg unit for employee satisfaction with 12 internal awards
• Contract includes 48-hour weekly guarantee

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Telemetry certification
• Strong cardiac/telemetry knowledge and EKG rhythm identification skills
• Medical-surgical experience with familiarity in cardiac medications and drips
• Meditech experience preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required
