# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiac Med-Surg Telemetry – Tennessee

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three full 12-hour shifts per week with 3–4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period; patient ratio 1:6

Highlights:

• 30-bed cardiac medical-surgical telemetry unit with strong staffing support including free charge nurse, unit secretary on day shift, and 3 PCTs per shift
• Cardiac drip experience required; titrated drips include Cardizem and heparin; non-titrated drips include dopamine, dobutamine, and amiodarone
• GE telemetry monitoring with Rover capability and portable workstations; Meditech documentation system
• Highest scoring unit for inpatient med-surg employee satisfaction with 12 internal awards within the department
• Self-scheduling available with rotation among travel nurses for floating policy
• 48-hour guarantee available

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Tennessee or compact state eligible
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Telemetry certification required
• Strong cardiac/telemetry knowledge with EKG rhythm identification skills
• Medical-surgical experience with familiarity in cardiac medications and drips
• Meditech experience preferred
