Job Opportunity – Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) RN – New York

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: New York State

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 hours (1900-0700), every other weekend required. Patient ratio typically 1:2, with occasional 1:1 based on acuity.

Highlights:

  • 16-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit with complex, high-acuity patient population
  • Diverse case mix including sepsis, ARDS, multi-organ failure, cardiac arrest with targeted temperature management, respiratory failure, and shock
  • Advanced critical care technologies including CRRT, EKOS, IABP, ECMO, and Impella
  • EPIC charting system utilized throughout facility
  • 24 hours of comprehensive orientation provided
  • Extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more

Requirements:

  • Active New York State RN license required prior to submission
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • EPIC charting system experience required
  • Experience with 1:2 patient ratios in critical care settings
  • Must reside more than 75 miles from facility location
